The impact of a cylinder blast at a ceasefire has left eight people in a tragic situation in Doranahalli village in Taluk, where more than 20 people were seriously injured.
The cylinder used for cooking in the cement program at 2.30 pm at Doranahalli Camp, Yadagiri district, exploded during the cement program at the home of retired employee Sayabanna Hagaratigi.
People were startled by the loud noise, which caused some anxiety in the surrounding atmosphere. More than 20 people who had arrived at the program were burned and sent to Kalburgi Hospital for further treatment.
Eight out of 20 people are reported to be in serious condition. The mishap occurred at the Shahpura police station.
